Ikat

Ikat is a style of weaving that has been around for centuries and has once again reemerged in the world of design. The word ikat is used to describe both the fabric and the method of dyeing the cloth. From Japan to regions of South America, the ikat is universal. I absolutely love this look. I have two Parsons chairs I will have reupholstered in an ikat...now if I could only pick the fabric. Decisions, Decisions.
