Linen Care 101

Caldrea is by far one of my favorite cleaning lines. They offer fabric friendly products. And, not to mention, that the fragrances are fabulous. My personal favorite is Ginger Pomelo.

Recently I was asked to answer a few linen care questions for the team over at My Home Ideas, a division of the Southern Progress Corporation. Companies within Southern Progress include Coastal Living, Southern Living, and Cooking Light (among many others). Such talented designers, writers, and photographers are based here in Birmingham at the headquarters located just minutes from where I work.
Properly caring for your linens is very important. Following a few simple rules will prolong the life of your sheets and duvets. Check out the article here. Thanks to Jennifer and Zoe for asking me to help with this project. Jennifer has a great blog that is a must read.
Be sure to visit My Home Ideas website as well. It is a fantastic resource...ideas for decorating, entertaining, and remodeling. I enjoy the photo galleries...the ideas they provide are endless. Well, happy Monday!! We will visit again soon.

Caldrea has long been one of my favorites - and the products for the nursery (Sweet Pea) are really wonderful.
LeBlanc Linen Wash is a real winner in stain removal as well as just great for your linens. In New Orleans we had customers who used it to wash everything from table linens to kids jeans. I used it (as instructed on the container) to remove a RED wine stain from my white slipcover that Dr. Deeds managed to inflict on it. Lucky for him that I took my customers' advice on that one!!
It does make a difference what you use to clean your linens, and these two companies produce some of the best products!
we were so happy to work with you! loving your blog!
