Recap

So after an interesting adventure on a good 'ole MTA cross town bus Friday afternoon, I made it to the Architectural Digest Design Home Show at Pier 94. I convinced Adam to tag along and we met up with my good friend Chelsea (check out her blog here. She is so talented!)

A section of the show was featured Dinning By Design. 45 tabletop designs were featured by the likes of Ralph Lauren Home to Benjamin Moore Paints. A silent auction was held on Thursday night and the proceeds benefited the DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS).

Above is a picture of the Kravet table. (Sorry the picture is so dark).

Fancy. Fancy. I loved looking at all of the beautiful rugs and carpets.

Cute Chelsea! Hey, we were just dreaming of lounging on a beach somewhere!

There were all kinds of vendors. Stone, hardware, lighting, etc...
But, I must say that I was blown away by
DesignRed. I had never see their work before and found it to be absolutely brilliant.
DesignRed is a decorative painting firm and the pictures below speak for themselves.

The attention to detail and the uniqueness of their painting are simply amazing.
Please check out their site.
4 images above are directly from DesignRed.

The Spring calender is quickly filling up and there are many more fun events ahead. I will be sure to share pictures.
Happy Tuesday!

Loving these images... thanks for sharing. And thanks for the tip off about that last company. Loving the faux bois sort of paint treatment (?) in that bathroom. Going to check them out now! :)
